14U April Showdown Tournament at In the Net in Palmyra

This past weekend the 14u LandSharks competed in the April Showdown Tournament at In the Net in Palmyra. Saturday pool play action seen the LandSharks win back to back games over Schulkill County Coal Crackers and New Oxford baseball. Behind strong pitching from Nate McCollum, Tyler Reinert, Tucker Byers, Ryan Haskins and Kyle Redding and good defense the LandSharks defeated the Coal Crackers 5-4 and New Oxford 3-2. On Sunday despite great pitching from Redding and McCollum the LandSharks could not get the key hit with men on base and fell to the eventual tournament champions Victus Diamond Pros 3-1 ending the tournament for the LandSharks. Ryan Haskins had two hits for the LandSharks. Great effort by all the boys. Just need to find some offense.
