10U RedLand Tournament Update

The 10u LandShark Team Had a very successful weekend this past Saturday and Sunday. We started Saturday out with a 14-2 win over the Loudon Aces out of Leesburg Virginia. The second game was a 12-2 win over the BackYard Gamers. We went into Sunday as the top seed out of 11 teams. Our first game was a 15-11 win over the Loudon Aces. We had 2 of our boys hit home runs out of the park Aidan Jerigan (grand slam) and Bradyn Redding. Also Bradyn Redding pitch four really strong innings to finish off the win as he did all weekend. Our semifinal game was a nail biter against the Etown Grizzlies. We won 4-3. Mason Weaver pitched a gem of a game to get the win. Bradyn Redding once again smashed one out of the park. Then we were on to the championship to meet the Central York Panthers. We came out on the losing end 6-1 to finish second. But we played very well and if a couple more of our hits would have dropped it would have been totally different. Austin Black pitch another gem to hold the Panthers down with 2 earned runs. Myself and the other coach's couldn't be more proud of the whole team and your effort.

The rest of the season will be a lot of fun if we play with the same energy and enthusiasm as we did this weekend.
