The 10u Landshark Team Had another very successful tournament this past weekend at the In The Net Cougar Classic . We started Saturday out with two tough losses. Game one a 5-4 loss to the Phoenixville Tide. The second game  was a   9-8 loss to the Max Impact Blast. This was our first tournament with free stealing and leads so it took us a little to get adjusted. But it was worth the learning curve.

 

We went into Sunday as the 7th seed out of 8 teams. Our first game was a 15-3 5 inning win over the 2nd seeded Central Penn Reneagades. Bradyn Redding pitched a very good complete game to keep the #2 seed off balance. Mason Weaver hit a homerun. The rest of the team also hit very well also as the score indicates, Austin Black was 4 for 4. Our semifinal game saw much of the same as game 1. A 15-4 win over the South Jersey Hawks in 4 innings. We filled up the score book with a bunch of hits. Mason Weaver kept his magical day going by hitting 2 more homeruns, Bradyn Redding also hit a homerun. Carter Stuart had 2 triples. Mason Weaver also pitched 4 strong innings to get the win. 

 

Then we were on to the championship to meet the Arena Starz. We came out on the losing end 5-0 to finish second. But we played very well we hit the ball hard but the hits didn't drop. Austin Black pitch another strong game to hold the Starz down with 2 earned runs. The coaching staff and parents cant be more proud of our boys. They give us maximum effort and are improving weekly. They are a great group that is making the Landshark Organization proud. Awesome job boys and keep up the hard work.
